Job Work
Process your customers’ material. Invoice the service.
Contract processing on material your customers own — repacking, grating, cutting, any job you can describe as inputs, outputs and an allowed loss. Receive their material with lot and expiry, run the job against an approved rate card, dispatch on a delivery note the customer acknowledges, and invoice the service per order or per period. Their stock never carries value in your books.

- Periodic invoicing
How it runs, start to finish
Built for
- Repackers, graters, cutters and co-packers
- Processors who are paid for the work, not the goods
- Manufacturers taking on contract work alongside their own lines
- 1
Material inward
Count, lot, expiry, condition and photos, into the customer’s own zero-value store.
- 2
Job order
Raised and confirmed by a manager. The rate card and loss allowance are frozen at confirmation.
- 3
Runs
Inputs are consumed first-expiry-first-out; outputs and losses are recorded against the allowance as you go.
- 4
Job delivery note
Dispatched from the store with pack labels, and sent to the customer on WhatsApp if you like.
- 5
Acknowledgement
By link or QR code, a signed copy or by hand. A short acknowledgement opens a dispute.
- 6
Charges and invoice
Charges are computed, never typed. Invoices draft themselves per order, weekly, fortnightly or monthly on their own series.
What you get
Everything below is live in the product today.
Separate customer store at zero value
Their material is tracked lot by lot, never valued in your books.
Specifications
One output per spec: recipe per pack, base and counting units, expected yield, turnaround and shelf life.
Effective-dated rate cards
Approved by a manager, with seven charging bases and minimum charges.
Live material check
Needed, in store, held and short — before the job starts.
Yield and loss against the allowance
Shown live during runs; chargeable loss is recorded, not argued about later.
Correct a run
Reverse a run cleanly, and complete an order short when the material runs out.
Pack label sheets
Printable labels per delivery.
Dispute flow
A short acknowledgement opens a dispute with the quantities on both sides.
QR-linked material statement
The customer scans and sees their live material account.
Charges computed, never typed
Waive or reinstate a charge; the invoice follows.
Automatic invoice drafts
Per order, weekly, fortnightly or monthly, on the job-work invoice series.
Material ageing alerts
Customer stock that has sat too long is flagged.

How Job Work connects
Every module shares the same customers, products and stock ledger, so switching one on never means re-entering data in another.
Job Work questions
No. It sits in a separate store at zero value. Only your service revenue and your own consumables post.
On acknowledgement by default, or on dispatch if the customer’s profile says so.
No. An order confirmed without an approved rate card earns nothing, and the overview warns you before that happens.
